Photography for me started as a serious hobby back in 2000 when I bought my first SLR, the canon Rebel G and have been shooting regularly since. I upgraded to the Elan 7 soon after and got heavily into the local concert scene. Though I do not make a living at it, I was rewarded for my efforts with credits in some CD booklets, and artist/event brochures/posters/web pages. I also get my images published regularly in a (including the cover shot on the CD). I have shot various fundraising/benefit shows including Motown Meltdown, World Kindness Concert, Magic Of Christmas and Spring Sprint where my photos are used on their web sites. In 2006, at the urging of a couple of friends, I went out and got a DSLR, the Rebel XT. By late 2007 I replaced it with an XTi.
